LICA Model 229N-PI Safety Boot

The LICA 229N-PI Safety Boot is designed for work environments where moisture, chemical exposure, impact hazards, and puncture risks coexist. Its water-resistant microfiber leather upper provides protection against moderate water exposure without compromising breathability, thanks to its textile lining.

The dual-density PU/PU outsole is slip-resistant and resistant to oils, solvents, acids, corrosive agents, abrasion, impact, and compression. It features a polyamide toe cap that withstands impacts of up to 101.7 J, along with a polyurethane anti-puncture insole that protects the sole of the foot from sharp objects.

Its dielectric construction provides protection against electrical hazards of up to 14,000 volts, complying with the Type II+III+VI, PP+D+RP classification of NOM-113-STPS-2009. Unlike the 229N-PI direct-injection model, this version is manufactured using a cemented construction, while maintaining an EEE last for a wide, secure fit during extended work shifts.

Care Instructions

• Clean the outsole with water, mild soap, and a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean cloth.
• Clean the upper with a damp cloth without saturating it with water, then allow it to air dry completely at room temperature before storage.
• Remove the insole periodically and allow it to dry naturally in the shade.
• Because this model uses cemented construction, avoid prolonged exposure to strong solvents that could weaken the bond between the outsole and the upper.
• Avoid prolonged immersion in standing water and exposure to direct heat sources.
